Disposing of waste electrical equipment
European Union Directives 2002/96/EC (WEEE) and 2002/95/EC (RoHS) were passed to avoid waste from electrical and electronic equipment while increasing recycling and further use for materials and utilities from such waste equipment, thus reducing residual waste to be disposed of and hazardous compounds from waste electrical and electronic equipment.

Notes for users:

All electrical and electronic equipments supplied since August 13, 2005, are marked with the symbol shown according to EU Directive 2002/96/EEC, waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE). Any electrical or electronic equipment marked with this symbol must be collected separately from unsorted domestic waste.

Returning used electrical equipment: Contact MS Westfalia GmbH or your MS Westfalia GmbH distributor for information on properly disposing of waste equipment.
